Does Mantis Issues Importer(v7) work w/1.1.1?

Dear forum,
I used the mantis issues importer (v7) with Mantis version 1.06.
It worked ok!
I am now going to upgrade to Mantis 1.1.1 and I want to know if the old issues importer is still compatible.

The issues importer can be downloaded from: http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=4220
Please help,

Try and you will find out.
But if you simply upgrade, you may even not need the importer.
