target version/product version

I want a field while reporting itself to imply that this is going to fix in the version say x.y.What is the method?
We have product version field.In advance report page we have target version field.If its(target version) purpose is to enter the version in which we r going to fix the bug ,how can i make it mandatory in simple report also.Please help

You'll need to add custom fields. Log in as an administrator account, click Manage then Manage Custom Fields. Check out the Mantis Manual and Wiki for more info on how to add custom fields.
