Hi all. I am planning to use Mantis as a bug tracking tool for my company but I have no programming experience at all. I know HTML and that is about as far as it goes. I have been trolling the Mantis site and I am a bit worried that not having programming or PHP knowledge will cause Mantis to not be cost effective to learn. Any other people like me out there that were able to get up to speed on Mantis quickly with this low level of knowledge?
Thanks,
Gary
P.S. I hate typo's that make my username GayJW and not GaryJW like I intended.

Re: Do I stand a chance?
In my company I'm in charge keeping up to date Mantis and before doing this, I had no idea of PHP programming. I just have a mid/low level in C++ programming.
I don't know anything about the process creating the db because I used a backup from an older one already created, but the setting up process of Mantis is really easy. Even configuring it by modifying config_inc.php is really intuitive.
As I've said before, I had no idea of PHP and I've even been able to program a new function that sends and e-mail when a new bug is reported with a specific custom field filled.
Moreover, I almost hadn't got any knowledge of Linux.
I encourage you to use Mantis, it's a nice tool
