Search description, Summary, and Additional Information

Does anyone know if there is there anyway to search the description, summary, and additional information fields in the search filter? Or has anyone created a customization to do this? Thanks!

In ~0.18 and beyond, the text search box below the list of search parameters does this.

It is not a supported feature, hence, it is not possible without writing code.
