I'm new to Mantis. I have no exposure PHP. I managed to configure to Mantis with Apache2.2, PHP 5.2.6, MySQL 5.0. I have the whole setup running on my local machine.
When i try to create a new user, I'm not getting any emails for their password. I'm able to login as an administrator though.
I copied the following piece of code from config_defaults_inc.php to config_inc.php, with asetting ll the options to ON.

When i try to test the email from the check.php. I get the following error
Testing Mail - PROBLEMS SENDING MAIL TO: administrator@example.com. Please check your php/mail server settings..
Can anybody advice, what needs to be done? where should i check the settings.
