Email Configuration Issue

Hi All,

i am a newbie to this forum..

i am using mantisbt 1.1.6 version.

It is working perfect except the email settings.

it is nopt sending email even i configured in config_defaults_inc.php

$g_smtp_host = 'smtp.gmail.com';

can you please guide me..

But i think the port number for g mail is '465' and not '25'. Correct me if I'm wrong.
