In our mantis installation we use Projects to identify different software applications and subprojects to identify components of these applications.
Many subprojects are common to more of one Project.
Each project have it's own version labels, also subprojects have their own ones.application (project) X: is composed by module (subproject) A, B, C and D.
application Y: is composed by module E, F, C and D.
application Z: is composed by module G, H and D.
When we define a plan to create a new application version (target release), we define also a plan for subprojects.
Changes are "charged" on subprojects target release.
So when we define a new version for a Project, we have also to define which version of subprojects we will use (existing one ? a new one ?).
Is there any way to obtain this in Mantis ?
Is it possible to change it ? contribute or sponsor it's change ?
Ciao
