Email notifications

Hi,

I am installing Mantis 1.1.7. Everything has gone surprisingly well, except for email notifications.

I have run the check.php script, everything there is "good." I have also clicked on the send email button, which send email to the account I have configured on godaddy.

The notifications within the program, however, do not work. I have wireshark installed and this is showing that Mantis is not trying to send an email when new items are created. The notification setup looks ok. I am the admin and am part of all projects.

Anyone have a quick break down of the order that scripts run so I can add debug messages?

I have a similar problem with godaddy, everything looks good but the notifications, some times it arrives and some times don't
