TEXT AREA SIZE, please help

hi everybody, I have created a custom field which is textarea type, althogh it has no size limit, it forces me to enter some number of charachters and I cant enter much more. This problem also exists in bug note size, how can I enter any number of charachters that i want, best regards

from I've read the LongCF plugin is for version 1.5, but not work in the 1.2 version
