How to search without overwriting my current filter?
I'm new to Mantis and am marking duplicates in a large custom-filtered list of bug reports. I have the list open in one tab, and I'm trying to search for each issue in another tab to see if it's a duplicate. However, each time I search for duplicates, the new filter overwrites my original filter, which means that I can't go to the next page of the big list without first resetting the filter. Am I missing something obvious here? Is there a way to make Mantis let me use multiple filters at once?
Re: How to search without overwriting my current filter?
AFAIK this is not possible.
As a workaround you can save your complex filter with button "Save current filter" and later recall with "Use Filter"
Another workaround could be using two different users for this task.
Maybe the best workaround is to set the "Show" value to a greater number than the default 50, so there is no need to go through pages.

Yeah, I'm already doing 1 and 3. 2 might be worth trying. Thanks very much for the info!
