Problem downloading attachment in MSIE

I am running Mantis 1.0.0rc2. Attachments are uploaded to database. When I try to view uploaded attachments in Internet Explorer(version 6.0) I get the choice Open or Save file. I choose Open and get the message "File could not be found". I can read the attachment if I choose to save it on my computer, but then the users would get a lot of extra work saving and deleting every attachment they want to read.

The really frustrating part is that everything works perfectly in Mozilla Firefox, and all the users have got MSIE (and are not willing to change browser).

I hope there are somebody out there who can help me solve this problem.
