Demo is broken

Hi,
I noticed the the online demo for Mantis is broken. It reports the following error:

Code: Select all

Database connection failed. Error received from database was #1130: Host 'sc8-pr-web8-b.sourceforge.net' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

I'd really like to see Mantis is action. It would also be nice if you could post some screenshots.

I have noticed it's broken, too. Would like to preview it before I go through the trouble of installing and configuring it.

Please fix the demo.

The demo Mantis installation was very old and wasn't maintained anymore. I removed the link to the demo page from Mantis menu. We will put it back only if we install a new release and maintain it.

For now, you can get an idea about Mantis in one of the following ways:
1. Checkout http://bugs.mantisbt.org - won't show you the stuff you can do beyond the reporter level.
2. Install Mantis and test it locally.
3. Get a 3 month Mantis Hosted installation and get started with Mantis (http://www.futureware.biz/blog/index.ph ... &tb=1&pb=1).

Subscribe to Mantis or my blog news feed to know when the demo site is up again.
