Sending Emails is not working with the same configuration

Hello,

I am evaluating 1.2.1 for upgrading. I have both versions on my localhost
my current live one 1.1.1, and the new 1.2.1 one

same email configurations in config_defaults_inc.php and config_inc.php

when i try to reset password from new version. doesn't send an email
when i try to reset the password from old version, i have both emails received in my inbox !!


In general, all emails that should be sent from the new version (assigning issue, adding note, .. etc). are not sent until i take an action on the old version to send an email. all emails then are recieved !!

Do you have any idea about a solution for this?

i have same problem...the email setting is driving me mad....and i 've decided not update mantis and maintain old version....
can mantis look into this problem and give user simple configuration guide on it?

I had the same problem, the mantis was sending two emails. Able to correct this by putting p always clear the cache.
