Defining Filter Fields

Hi,

Is it possible to define in any way what fields are available to filter on via the View Bug page?

I've attempted tracking the code back as id be perfectly happy just commenting out and reorganisin the HTML table thats generated but it appears far to complex for me.

Any pointers would be great.
