View Bug list tooks ages to display

Hi,

is there anything to increase the performance of mantis? We have about 5000 bug entries in our database and it took at least 5 - 10 seconds to display the bug list.

Just out of curiosity, what version are you on?

There was a bit of a slow down in the 0.19.x series, but 1.0.x should be a bit faster as far as I can tell...

We use the version 1.00rc2.
I have enabled the debug option "show_queries_list". If I load the bug list more than 1000 sql queries were executed. Is this a normal behaviour?

By the way, we have more than 20 custom fields defined. May this the
reason for the terrible performance?
