attached files lost after recent upgrade

Post by hetul »

Hello,

we recently upgraded to the lastest stable release... things are working fine...

we are able to see OLD Reports and everything like users and projects are properly visible.

However, we have lost all the files that were attached to the reports.

We have changed the serves and the path to files folder have changed...

The old folder which contained the files is placed in the correct location at the new server... it has all the old files too.

I can say its placed in the new server at correct location because when we upload new files... they appear nicely. and are stored in the same folder at the new server.

So, the question is Why the OLD Reports do not show the associated files that were uploaded?

Any clues?

Thanks

Hi, i've the SAME problem.
I've updated Mantis from 0.19.2 to the most recent stable version (1.0.1 if i remember well).

All files are in place, i've runned the update database routine as reported in the install - upgrade page and all goes fine.
Software is perfectly working and checks are all green.

Despite this fact i obtain only white pages when i'm trying to open .doc, .pdf and .xls from my mantis attached files.
Also unable to download files... simply those files are not here anymore.

I get no errors in this phase, neither when i UPLOAD a file. Software says: all ok but no files are phisically moved in the doc folder... nothing to do...
I've not changed any permission in any folder. Just overwrited the folder (keeping config_inc.php if i remember well, with actual login data).
Also changing folder from setup for uploaded files doesn't work. Nothing happened in the fresh candy folder...

Any idea?
