Yes I can view Mantis through the web browser fine,
I was just looking for a more user friendy app that has been designed for Mantis.

So far I'm not aware of any effort to produce an iPhone optimized application. There is MantisWAP ( http://www.futureware.biz/mantiswap ) which provides efficient access to more basic phones.
I haven't researched what is involved to implement / test such applications. If someone has links related to how such optimized apps are developed and some way to simulate an iPhone (since I don't own one), then maybe we can get something going.

Migrate your MantisBT to the MantisHub Cloud

The only way I know is to get the IPHONE SDK for MAC OS from APPLE. Then you can develop an APP for IPHONE. But if you want to test it on your phone and publish on the APP Store you have to pay 99$/year.
We use Mantis for our own project and we discussed already to develop such an APP, but we didn’t know how many people are interested in. And if we want to get back the 99$ / year we have to take a minimum amount of money to compensate the costs. But how many people will pay 50 Cent to 1$ for such an application?

Hello,
I can develop apps, is it just an Apple based app you would require or to fit all smart phones?

Re: Mantis - Apple iPhone
It is good to use browser just to minimize the usage of applications in iphone
Don't you think sooo

Re: Mantis - Apple iPhone
I'd be interested in an iPhone AP too. 50 cents to a dollar won't kill me.. LOL.
Re: Mantis - Apple iPhone
An iphone app for Mantis is a neat idea. 99 cents for an app wouldn't be so bad at all.
Re: Mantis - Apple iPhone
Well, if you do develop them, i would suggest to support at least also Android.bathroomsguru wrote:Hello,

It might make more sense to tailor new custom web pages for the iPhone specifically instead of creating a custom iOS application.
Using MantisBT on my iPhone is okay and completely useable but it would be great if it had its own custom web pages to utilise the screen better. It would probably end up similar to the WAP project.

version 1.3 will provide more CSS styling, which will be the base for customization of mobile device output.gcparris wrote:It might make more sense to tailor new custom web pages for the iPhone specifically instead of creating a custom iOS application.

yes i'm intrested in an iphone or ipad app too. It's more efficient and convenient to use apps rather than the browser.
