Remove released versions from list of target versions

I would like to exclude released versions from the list of target versions as it does not make much sense to resolve an issue in the past

The solution proposed here (http://www.mantisbt.org/forums/viewtopi ... on+#p25840) is not very useful in my opinion as setting the version to obsolete also removes the version from the the list of product versions, but it should still be possible to file issues against a released version.

Is there a way to exclude versions only from the list of target versions but not from the list of product versions?

I see your point, hower it fully depends on how you manage ones project and products. That is different for everyone, for some it makes sense for some it does not.
