Upload via FTP only

Hi there,

I´m looking for a way to bypass the max_upload_size and other restrictions affecting File upload.
in fact, I need to get around this ;)

The problem is I have only very restricted access to the server, however FTP via PHP is enabled.

Is there any way to tell Mantis that it should use the FTP transfer exclusivley to upload files?

I´m using latest stable Mantis 1.0.1
