All php code for the app, Mantis, MediaWiki, etc, is placed in it's own app folder. For example:
/opt/lampstack-1.2-4/apps/mantis
/opt/lampstack-1.2-4/apps/mediawiki
/opt/lampstack-1.2-4/apps/phpmyadmin
Here's What I Did
1 - Downloaded stable 1.2.10 release
2 - Extracted contents to the working Mantis 1.2.4 app's /opt/lampstack-1.2-4/apps/mantis/htdocs/ folder
3 - Replaced new config_inc.php with old
After restarting the LAMP stack, when I go to Mantis, Apache thinks I want to open or download and save the login_page.php .
I assume this is due to my not understanding permissions or uids very well. I tried to make the new htdocs folder containing Mantis match the old but still no success.
Each time I refresh a Mantis URL, the Apache error_log appends a new seg fault:
