Mantis update - questions

Hello,

I am new to mantisb but I have a task tu update it from old version 1.28 -> 1.2.17
As I understand I have to download the new files and put it on serwer then run the installation process giving information about database that was used in old version..

I have guestion about files that were uploaded by users.. are thouse files stored in db as binary or there are in some folders in mantis - because I can not find any in old mantis installation folder..

What folders should I copy from old version to new ?
