"Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function"

The email was sent though.

I got an error that looks very much like this - but the email seems not to be send. My whole error-message is this one:

PROBLEMS SENDING MAIL TO:
Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

It occures after resetting the account for a NOT protected manager account.

Any ideas?
