Mantis with SQL Server 2005

Post by macronfactor »

Seems like v1.05 would work with MS SQL Server, no? But the table for Mantis needs to be created manually is what it looks like... is that all? Any link for the table layout for Mantis?

I've got SQL Server 2000 and 2005 in-house already and want to utilize those rather than install a third SQL server.

Let me know what all is involved in getting Mantis on SQL Server. Thanks.

You shouldn't need to create the tables manually, the standard install should be able to create the tables for you. I can't remember whether on SQL server you had to create the empty database or not.

I've tested Mantis before on MS SQL 2000 but not on MS SQL 2005. I remember the tricky bit was to supply the correct inputs for the installation to locate the SQL server.
