Does administrative user have access to the database? ( No such file or directory )

Post by forstera »

Hi all,

I'm completely new in the envirronnment I'm using ton install Mantis but after several hours and many tries.. I think I need some help :)

So I've a synology NAS Uptodate and a docker image running of Mantis (the last one)
I installed mariadB on my synology using a synology package. I thnink (but not sure) it is version 10.4

So I started my Mantis installation and I'm locked under the control of the configuration

MyNAS/mantisbt/admin/install.php

Image

According to what I understand :
Username (for Database) is the username the installation is going to create to allow the first access to the system
Password (for Database) will be the password linked to the user here above
So I think I dont need to create it ; the installation process will do it.

Admin Username (to create Database if required) is my MariaDB root account to be able to create users and databases
Admin Password (to create Database if required)

So I'm sure my Admin username/Passsor is correct because I installed phpmyadmin and I can connect to it .

So I dont know what is wrong here except the fact that in the error message it is said : No such file or directory ?
Should I have an account on my sinology with the same name/Password as my root mariadb account ?

Thanks to all for your help
Arnaud

I think i've understood my problem.

In fact, according to the fact that Mantis is in a container, I think I should not consider this is local host ...
so maybe just giving the ip adress of my sinology instead of localhost ?

So I made a try and I've a new error message :
Does administrative user have access to the database? ( Host '172.17.0.3' is not allowed to connect to this MariaDB server )

172.17.03 is the ip address of my container.
I dont know how can I change my MaridaDB config to allow my container to connect ...
Thanks to all
