Assign To: button :(

Hi guys,

i changed the status of mantis everything seems to work fine but when I click on Assign To: button, the username that was assign to the issue shows up but status of the issue still remains at New. Anyone know whats wrong?

any help is greatly appreciated!

that kind of stuff is configurable on the
manage_config_work_threshold_page.php (workflow thresholds)

specifically, the "Status to set auto-assigned issues to" section (which is 'new' by default) affects both the auto-assignment (as defined in the project category settings) as well as the "Assign To:" button.
