Did a quick search of the forum, but couldnt find what is was looking for. Basicaly its this
I would like to filter the possible resolution states based upon what the status is
i.e. if status is set to "resolved", i only want the resolution option to be "fixed","duplicate", "no change required".

Limit Resolution Based on Status

Would this be possible?
Can we limit the resolution based on the status.
My next customization would be to set the default value for resolution when a particular item is selected for the status .
I am wondering whether is this possbile or is this a limitation of Mantis?
I went through some topics in the Help Forum, still haven't found an answer.
Can anybody help me out?

I am trying to get 2 aspects:
1) Can we limit the resolution based on the status.
i,e if we select a status then we should be able to see only few options for
the resolution depending on the status selected.
for example when the status is selected as "closed", the items displayed for
resolution should be limited to one of these, i,e Fixed, Unable to
reproduce,not fixable, no change required.
2) In the same way for the above case, if the status is selected as "closed"
then i want the resolution to default to "Fixed" rather than the
other status like Unable to reproduce, not fixable, no change required.
