Microsoft Calendars in MantisBT

Hi,

We use MantisBT at work to track bugs in our projects, and my boss wants us to be able to sync ticket deadlines directly with Microsoft calendars... you know, the thing that works with Outlook and Teams. The idea is that when we assign a ticket with a deadline, it automatically shows up in the relevant developer’s calendar. I looked through the available plugins, but I didn’t find much that was really clean for this. There are some things floating around on GitHub, but honestly, nothing has been maintained since 2021. Has anyone already set up an integration with Microsoft calendars in MantisBT? Did you go through the Outlook API directly, or is there another approach?

Just to add a bit more context: while digging around, I also came across some discussions about syncing with Microsoft calendars in more generic ways rather than relying on old MantisBT plugins. I'm still trying to figure out whether going directly through Microsoft Graph / Outlook APIs is the best long-term solution, or if anyone has had success using an intermediate sync layer. My main concern is keeping assignments and due dates updated automatically without having to maintain custom code every time Microsoft changes something. Curious to hear what others ended up doing.
