Can't install - Access denied to DB!

Hi,

I was attempting to move an existing 1.0.0a1 install over to a new host, but then saw how much progress had been made (congrats btw!) and thought I'd go for a fresh v1.0 install and import my data across.

The only issue is: I can't get past the install stage...

Upon entering my details, all messages go green except for one, which is red: -

Attempting to connect to database as admin

BAD - Does administrative user have access to the database? ( Access denied for user '******'@'localhost' (using password: YES) )

Can anyone help me here? I have searched though the forum, but the only refs are where someone has commented that they need to add a couple of lines of code regarding permissions....somewhere...?!

Strangely, I've just found that my migrated Mantis install (actually 1.0.0a2) seems to be working perfectly on the new server, so not as much panic as before, but I would still like to do this new install...any ideas?
