Apply patches

How can I apply the patches from http://forums.mantisbt.org/viewtopic.php?t=1105 to my system?? I am using Windows... and I can't find a programm working with this file ...

Search for "cygwin" in google. You'll get all the nice unix tools including "patch" which you need for that. There are some nice tutorials for using it out there...

I use a SPARC Solaris SunOS 5.9 and I can't apply mantis-1.0.5.patch concerning email reporting issues.

The OS patch command show me this following line :
"Looks like a unified context diff."
and ask me after which file I want to patch :
"File to patch:"

I read the patch command documentation but even with -d option on mantis root directory that doesn't worked fine.

Please, could someone explain me the entire procedure to patch Mantis ?
