Can a report be created that contains only the closed issues between a current release and a previous?
Major.Minor.SvnRevision
The last number in our software version numbering system matches the Subversion revision number that a build was made from.
I added custom fields for Subversion-revision-reported, and Subversion-revision-closed (maybe there is a more generic or better Mantis way?).
Use case example:
Previous release: 1.2.304
Issue Bug1 fixed: 1.2.306
Issue Bug2 fixed: 1.2.323
Issue Bug3 fixed: 1.2.344
Make new release: 1.2.355
How can I generate a report of closed issues 1.2.304 <= 1.2.355, Must I use "Date Filters"?
I would be interested in hearing about your experience in using Mantis for this purpose.
Thanks in advance,
-Ed

Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Use "View Issues", click on "Advanced Filters"
Click on "Fixed in Version" and multiselect (hold Ctrl Key) the versions you want

Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry, I should have thought about multi-select as a way to accomplish my goal.
SVN Revision Reported
[any]
[none]
1.2.304
1.2.306
1.2.444
The "fixed" custom field shows only "any" and "none" despite having entered this field when closing an issue?
SVN Revision Resolved
[any]
[none]
The only difference I see is one is required-on-report and the second is set to required-on-resolve and required-on-close. Do you have any advice concerning?
Thanks again for your response,

I appear to have a problem with my "fixed in version" custom field not displaying records on the "Advanced Filters" page. The "reported" custom field shows the reported versions list. Good.atrol wrote:Use "View Issues", click on "Advanced Filters"

Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Custom field? Do you use outdated version of MantisBT? "Fixed in version" is a standard field, at least since version 1.1.x (where I started working wit hMantisBT)esutton wrote: I appear to have a problem with my "fixed in version" custom field
Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Possibly. So I understand I should see "Fixed in version" as a standard field when I close or resolve an issue? I guess I am not finding this standard field?atrol wrote:Custom field? I have Mantis 1.1.6 that I think we installed from Bitnami download a couple years ago.

See example http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=11654 where you should see the field (this is version 1.2.3, but I use 1.1.6 in one of my installations where this is also available
1.1.6 was released December 2008, is this a couple of years?esutton wrote: I have Mantis 1.1.6 that I think we installed from Bitnami download a couple years ago.
Maybe you don't see any versions, because you didn't configure any versions for your projects.
Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Sorry, I do not see the "Fixed in Version Field" in 1.1.6.
Ahh, I see my problem. It has actually been 1.8 years and not 2.0 years since 1.1.6. I feel very inferior now which must be the point of that comment. Thank you very much for taking the time to point this out.
Now that might be helpful. When I create a new project I see no option to configure anything related to versions. I guess I would expect them to be enabled by default.

Re: Report showing closed issues since last release ?
Seems you are offended, and I can't understand why.
Be also aware that I am no native English speaker, I just try my best to support users using MantisBT.
The question was to find out whether your installation is a real version 1.1.6 or maybe is a older one.
You told, that you do not see "Fixed in Version Field", so I thought this can't be 1.1.6
Click "Manage" -> "Manage Projects"
Click on a project name to get a page where versions can be added for the selected project.
