has anyone experienced the follow requirement and if so, how did you deal with it?
I'm interested in having fields that auto populate based upon selection. In addition to this, I'd like for users to be able to add a selection.
Example scenario: A help ticket comes in and the support person must enter the callers First/last name, e-mail address, phone number, and office number. If this is a person who has opened a ticket before, then the support person only needs to select their name from the drop down. If it is a first time caller, then the support person must add them to the list of people that report tickets.
Desired result: While creating the ticket or prior to creating the ticket the support person is able to add the person's name, e-mail address, phone number, and office number. Upon adding this information, This should then become an option for the support person to pick from a drop down while creating the ticket. the support person will simply have to pick the name of a user and the phone number/email/ and office number will pre-populate it self.
Any thoughts would be great!
