APPLICATION ERROR #1100 / Issue 5 not found

Hi all,

after saving a ticket we can't open that specific ticket any more because of the error "APPLICATION ERROR #1100 / Issue 5 not found".

What does that mean? There are no entrys in any logfile and the rest of mantis works fine.

What is wrong and how can we repair this ticket?

Can you provide a detailed step by step instruction what you do and what you get?
Which version of MantisBt do you use?

ok I try... (Sorry for my english)

Our Mantis 1.2.4 (Shema 183) works fine so far. But something went wrong after we saved another notice in one existing issue with number 0049839. Every time we try to open this issue now we get an error "APPLICATION ERROR #1100
Problem 5 nicht gefunden." (Issue 5 not found).

We cannot open this issue 0049839 any more for reading. What does the error mean and what can we do to repair it?

There is no error in the Apache or MySQL logfile.

Hi all,

I found the problem now and solved it...

The problem was the string "~3.6GB" I found in the last notice of the broken issue, especially the "~". That one caused the error. When I deleted it directly in MySQL it worked. So we can't use this sign in a notice.

But why was the error "Issue 5 not found"? There is no "5" anywhere?

You can disable the ~ for notes and # for issue links with page "Manage" -> "Manage plugins"
"MantisBT Formatting 1.0a"
Set "MantisBT Links ( Issue/Issuenote )" to "Off"
