How to configure e-Mail Reporting

I have installed the e-Mail reporting on our Mantis 1.2.3.

I'm sure it is me but I have no idea on how to continue from here. Just to check I had some other SW guys look at the documentation and they are also lost. It could also be that I am an e-mail-tech-illiterate or I'm missing the documentation.

I would appreciate a guideline on what to configure for the two possible scenarios I have in mind (I'm not even sure they are possible):
(all on Exchange 2010)

1. Have a public folder called to_mantis. Our developers just drag a mail with attachments from their personal inbox to that public folder. It is periodically polled by the plugin and processed. Subfolders per project are not desired but possible.Fine.

2. Poll a specific mailbox for entries and process those.

The sole goal is to save me (and others) from c&P mail text to a bugnote and manually saving mail attachments to disk and then upload them in mantis.

Should I get this going I promise to write a little tutorial for the same-as-me-illiterate.
