Mantis Performance is down

Dear All,

I have a serious concern with my mantis

Installed 1.2.6 (latest version) with windows installer.
I have around 30 users and more than 500 Issues in my DB currently..
But when I report/ update any issue Mantis performance is drastically coming down.
Tried the following things even..
1. updated to "mediumtext" for metadata/ body in table "mantis_email_table" tough its not working out.

But to resolve the above issue, I kept Email Notification in OFF but I can not move ahead for long run with this solution I need my developers to get notified on New Issues/ Updates on Issues.... with EMAILS (which is not possible now unfortunately....)

Can anyone please helpme out with the solution.

Is mantis_email_able empty?
Maybe there are a lot of unsent messages (because there where errors when trying to send them) and MantisBT tries to send them every time an email should be sent.

Thanks for ur reply Atrol, kindly see my inline issue

I dont have issue with Email sending

"mantis_email_table"Table is not empty everytime email goes to respective developer/ new user (when I raise an Issue or create a new account)

The only issue with when I update/ posting new issues then problem raises.

I thought you got a performance issue which does not appear if you disable email notification.
So your issue seems to be caused by MantisBT's email system.
That's why I asked you to check the mantis_email_table

Seems that I don't understand your issue.

I put in this way,

When I report any NEW Issue or update any existing issue Mantis takes huge time to Generate new issue or to update (If I keep Email notification in ON)

When I disable Email Notification in OFF Mantis is working in lesser time.

But Noone gets notified on the Issues which makes annoyed.
