SYSTEM WARNING: htmlspecialchars() in Mantis 1.0.6

Post by lolka_bolka »

Today, i've downloaded the lates stabel Mantis 1.0.6
I am wondering, this problem not solved it yet.

I tried to change my hunagrian.txt , and set UTF-8 instead of iso-8859-2, but when i see the page in FF, the special characters went to somewhere...

Under IE the page is unusable...:(

I believe you won't get more than a fix for Mantis 1.0.6 as the developers are busy switching to a general UTF solution for all languages (which is really neccessary).

Try and convert your strings_<language>.txt file into real UTF format and change the variable $s_charset into "UTF-8".

I guess this helps.

You may want to try downloading 1.1.0a3 and take the language file from it. Test it on a backup of your data first before applying it on production.
