Upgrade PHP

Hi All,

Good Day

My Mantis Version is '"MANTIS_VERSION', '1.2.8' "" which is hosted on XAMPP (Basispaket) version 1.7.1.

is there any simplest way to upgrade to php 5.3.0 ? without effecting our Mantis DataBase.
Current PHP is "PHP 5.2.9 + PEAR"

Upgrading PHP/XAMPP is not that much related to MantisBT.
I recommend to ask in XAMPP forum where I expect more users that are experienced in that.
