Mantis Mylar connector

So I'm trying to integrate the Mylar plugin with Eclipse for Mantis. I used the files from this page: http://mylar-mantis.sourceforge.net/
I moved the 'mc' folder into my mantis folder on the webserver, installed the Mylar plugin into eclipse, and copied the .jar files from that download page into the eclipse/plugins folder.

After all that, I can add a Task Repository for my Mantis bugtracker, and I can add a new 'query' under the task list. This does bring up the bugs for each project, but I cannot do anything further than that. When I double click on the bug in the 'Task List' I simply get "An error has occurred. See error log for more details." Also when I try to synchronize the 'query' I have setup for Mantis in the task list, I get this error "An internal error occurred during: 'Get Changed Tasks'". I am unable to find an error log for anymore details.

Also, I realize that there is http://www.futureware.biz/mantisconnect/ also (seems like there's two 'mantisconnect' programs), but when I copy the 'webservice' folder into my mantis/mc folder, I can't even add a 'query' to the task list for the list.

I think I am very close to getting this all to work, but I just can't open the bugs once they've been loaded to the task list. All my searching has found that there is very little documentation on this whole project.

Does anyone have any input for things to try next?

First, let's take this discussion to the forum on sf.net. I don't want to impose on the group here. Can you post a stack trace of the error on the sf.net forums and we can try to debug some more.

As to a couple of your specific questions and for others who made read this...

The sf.net project is a separate project from either Mantis or Mantis Connect. The bundle on sf.net for mantisconnect is an SVN snapshot of the Mantis Connect code without modifications. As soon as the Mantis Connect project releases a new version, the installation instructions will be modified to use an "official" released version.

For your specific problem, I don't know the answer. Are you using the correct version of Eclipse/Mylar/Mantis. The supported versions are listed on the sf.net site.

Anyway, if you have issues, I can help a bit more on the sf.net site.

It seems that the sf.net forums for the mantisconnect project are pretty inactive.

has anyone gotten the connector to wrrk recently? I can't seem to get it installed correctly.

I have posted messages about it weeks ago on the sf.net forums, on these mantis forums, and entered a defect about it and have gotten no responses.
