HELP: Cannot change View Status from Public to Private

Hi All,

I just installed Mantis 1.0.6.

Currently I cannot change the View Status of a bug from Public to Private through the Update Issue button. I can create a bug with the View Status of Private no problems though. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!
