Empty Target Version (multiselect)

Version: 2.25.5 on Windows 11

I become happier and happier with MantisBT as the months go by and I learn more about how to customize it to meet our needs. We're now making use of target_version to plan our various project phases.

A minor annoyance: if I want to remove the target version on a single issue (bug), I can use Edit and select, from the top of the dropdown list of of targets, the empty line. This works well.

But if I select multiple issues (bugs) and use Update Target Version (at the bottom of the View Issues table), I get the same dropdown list, but when I select the empty top line, I get an error "Please select an item in the list". Thus I can only empty target versions one at a time using individual edits.

Is this a bug? Surely it is something useful that should work rather than report an error!

Having not heard anything, I've gone ahead and filed a bug report for this.
