Problems with: $g_status_legend_position

This setting: $g_status_legend_position. Doesn´t work for the version 2.25.7.

$g_status_legend_position is obsolete in version 2.x.
Run admin/check/index.php to see if you have set more options that are obsolete.

There is no such functionality, is was removed about 9 years ago, and there were pretty few users asking for it.
E. g. this isssue is open since years and might help you some way https://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=22457
Based on that, I don't expect it will be reintrocuded to the standard installation, unless there is some contribution from the user community.
Another way to implpement it, could be to write a plugin.
