I am one of the obvious minority who has to support multiple versions of the software they produce. I have read this old thread and understand the argument from that perspective, but my support requirements don't work that way.
The strange part is I can still mark an issue as Fixed against a released version I just can't target it.
This is really causing me education issues for my current crop of issue reporters. I have found this issue which was opened to try to revert the change. If I try to make this configurable and submit a pull request is there a chance it can be resolved in an upcoming release?
My plan would be to include released versions if my new flag it enabled. I would not include obsolete versions.
At the same time should I apply the same logic to the Fixed in dropdown list when resolving issue?
Thanks Dave
