Reopen bug for not self reported bug as Reporter

Hi,
i use Version 0.19.2.

Our custumers want to reopen a bug which he not at reported by his own. Both users as access level "reporter". Normaly such things are at my installation only allowed for developers and above.

I found $g_allow_reporter_reopen = ON. But this does not change anything (probaly this was on before :-). No "reopen issue" button occurs for the user.
Then i add $g_reopen_bug_threshold = REPORTER. Nice, the button occours, but then a "access denied" error pops up on page "bug_change_status".
Then i add $g_update_bug_status_threshold = REPORTER. Nice this works now. But now the reporter can always change the status and this i don't want.
How can a reporter reopen a bug, without grant him the right to change status?

Hi there,

I have the same problem with Mantis 1.0.1.

On closed issues I have the reopen button but no right to reopen as a user who didn't report the bug.

Is there really no solution for that?
