I am exploring ways small service businesses can organize customer requests, internal tasks, and follow-ups using issue tracking systems. A company handling many daily service calls needs a simple way to track open jobs, updates, and completed work instead of relying only on emails or spreadsheets.
Has anyone used MantisBT for managing workflows outside traditional software projects? For example, a local business like a plumbing company could use a tracker to record customer issues, schedule updates, and team assignments. I would like to know if others have adapted MantisBT for similar operational needs.

Re: Using MantisBT for Managing Service Requests and Tasks?
Hello,
i use MantisBt as a Todo list for all my project (Customer, Software developpement, internal project) since 2010.
In function of the target, i authorize more or less people to access to the Mantis project.
I have develop a small web site to my customer in order to have a more user friendly interface (Cf ScreenShot)
The Web site use the Api to access the data.
I'm therefore free to customize it however i wish, while retaining the power of Mantis.
I think it is possible to do the same for you.
Best Regards.
