How to setup mantis to use Windows username/password

Hi,

Mantis is great but with a large organisation the manual username/password administration is a problem. I would like to use the username/password used in the windows environment. Has anyone done this and if so, how should it be done.

There is no official direct way. There are patches to use NTLM with caviats. You may be able to use LDAP to access the AD server. Finally, I added a bridge a while ago to link this with a Sun NIS server that was populated from the AD server.
