Mantisbt and now MantisTestPlan

I think it would be great if the Mantis team could develop a tool for test plans and testcases like Testlink (http://testlink.sourceforge.net) integrated with MantisBT.

Is there a reason why you think we need to implement such a product, rather than provide some integration with it? We are focusing on developing Mantis and integrating with related tools when applicable.

I am looking for a good test-tracking tool to use in conjunction with Mantis as the bug-reporting and -tracking tool. Given a choice between duplicating someone else's work and connecting to it, I'd suggest connecting to it.

Take a look at http://testlink.sourceforge.net. Mantis interface is supported since version 1.6.

I have seen the TestLink demo, but is there a demo of TestLink and Mantis working together?

You might want to check with the TestLink team, they are the ones managing the integration.
