Mantis DokuWiki - no authentication

Hello,
I have Mantis 1.1.1. and Dokuwiki installed (on a hosted Server).
After installation, I also followed exactly these instructions:
http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/m ... h_dokuwiki

Now when clicking on the Wiki entry in Mantis, the WikiPage shows a Permission denied.

Seems the User in DokuWiki is not authenticated by Mantis.
What kind of Wki do I have to choose during installation: open, public or private (or similar - did not know the exact kinds)?

Any ideas where to look further - or also welcome - how to find out what's going wrong?

You probably need "open" or "public", not sure what is the difference. Probably public is readable by everyone and open is editable by everyone.
