Problem Email Notification (locally installed)

Hi,
I'm newb with mantis. After I faced a lot of problem to install Mantis locally (in my PC lastly succeeded ), I still have problem with Email Notification when any action done from any user.
I did all the configuration which are showed in Mantis Manual but it somehow brings nothing to me.
Has anyone had the same problem as me and could you please suggest me what should I do to overcome this problem?

Hi,

try to install a free SMTP server (there´s a lot of them in the web) and change the config_inc.php file:

copy the Email section from de config_defaults_inc.php file and paste in the config_inc.php.
set the email type to 2 (SMTP), the smtp host variable, then you should have success.

I didn´t try this, but should work.
