APPLICATION ERROR #12, protected account

Hi,

Ok, I just installed the new mantis update 1.0.0.3 and I have now run into the following problem:

When going to Manage Custom Views I get Application Error 12. I have the dutch version of mantis, but translated the error message states

'This account is protected. You cannot access until this protection has been removed. '

I have upgraded the database and I have also updates custom_field_api.php to the new version (1.54 I believe). I have the status administrator, so that can't be the problem either. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I get the same message. I have not looked for a solution though.

In the Manage Users -> user page, there is a checkbox labelled "Protected". If this is set, no preferences for that user can be changed.

Unchecking the box should fix this.

How are you getting to this page?

I log in as admin and go to Manage, then to "Manage Global Profiles".

It works by unselecting the protected feature of the user.

That worked, thanks :).

I'm guessing though that this is a temporary solution to the problem? I would like to be able to reset my users to protected, so they can not be deleted.

The user creating the global profile is "protected". You could turn it on again after adding the profiles, or use another user to add the profiles.
