Version 1.0.0 release date?

Version 1.0.0 release date?

Does anyone have an idea when v1.0.0 is scheduled to be officially released? Is a3 going to be the last pre-release? Is there any particular schedule, or is pretty much driven by when the reported bugs are fixed?
