RSS - access denied (rc2)

Hi.
I'm getting an "Access denied" error when trying to view an rss feed.
I don't want to make data available publically just so that I can have RSS turned on - will this be fixed before release?

I'm still interested in seeing the ouput though.
I have given the user "anon" "viewer" rights to the project, and set $g_anonymous_account = "anon"; in config_inc.php.
No luck.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem, even though I'm using an admin account, the error access denied still occurs....

Since the current RSS support doesn't have user authentication. Mantis doesn't allow access to RSS if the anonymous access is disabled or the project you are trying to access is private.

It is planned to support authentication in rss by adding some use credentials in the url that is used to access the RSS.

sorry, I dont understand, can you explain me, how can i reach the situation when my RSS will works properly ?
